I baffled ! My problem is that for some reason my connection to internet through the router is has become throttled overnight.
I changed nothing, made no modifications to the settings but for some reason I cannot achieve maximum throughput using the router. I disconnected the modem and tested it on it's own and I managed to achieve the maximum throughput, so it seems that it's not the modem.
The only difference I have noticed is the incessant flickering (orange led) of the internet port but there is no corresponding wan activity.
I have tested the router with seperate individual systems, both hardwired and over the wireless, each one connected on it's own so as not to cause any traffic from the other PCs obtaining the same throttled results
I have tried power cycling, 30/30/30 resets and I have flashed to the latest firmware but nothing seems to correct the issue.
For the last test, I have also connected another router to the modem and I achieve the maximum throughput.
I haven't got the foggiest of what to try next. Any ideas?
