I am having an issue connecting 2 WRT1900AC routers together in Wireless Bridge mode. I followed the instructions here until step 7 (Clicked "Yes" at the "Warning" screen), and then I get this error:
Unexpected Error 2117 We've encountered an unexpected error. If the issue continues, please visit our Technical Support site. Details /jnap/router/InitiateWirelessConnection -- Status: 200 OK Date: Sat, 18 Apr 2015 05:22:03 GMT Server: lighttpd/1.4.34 Connection: close Content-Length: 87 Content-Type: application/json; charset=utf-8
This router is brand new. The only things I have done are:
- Unbox router
- Skipped Setup Wizard
- Attempt to setup in Wireless Bridge Mode
- Got error saying I needed to reset the router to factory settings
- Reset router to factory settings by holding Red button
- Plugged router directly into upstream link (Cable Modem)
- Went through Setup Wizard
- Updated Firmware to official version: 1.1.8.164461
- Went through Wireless Bridge Setup Instructions Here
- Got to Step 7
- Got "Unexpected Error 2117"
I retried again and got another error:
