Hi, I have unfortunately gotten the linkbucks malware.
After thinking I removed it twice with MalwareBytes, I've come to the conclusion that this thing has affected the wireless network, rather than my system.
I know this is a network problem because not only does this happen to me on my laptop, but this stupid thing is on my phone whenever I click on an abbreviated link such as a Twitter or Youtube link and redirects you to a fake search engine.
On bleepingcomputer.com, who I've used before to successfully defeat viruses, someone said resetting their router would do it.
If I use a paper clip in the pinhole to reset my router, will it come back and will everything be intact? Or do I have to go onto the home computer it's based and deal with a bunch of things such as resetting passwords and whatnot.
The model number is a (Linksys) WRT160N V3
