EA6200 Problems

So I am going to type up my full story to kind of give you guys all the info that you may need to help me solve this...

 

We recently upgraded our internet package to a 45mb download speed package with 5mbs upload speed.  The ISP (CenturyLink) sent us a new Modem/Router (C1000A) to be used with our new package.  We plugged it in and set it all up and we were good to go.  The computer that is directly connected to the C1000A was getting the full speed of the package and the Wireless devices were getting around 11mbs download speeds.  I wanted faster speeds on the devices that were connected wirelessly so I went to Best Buy and picked up an EA6200 Router.

 

Got home and followed all the instructions that were provided in the box.  Turned off the WiFi Signal that came from the C1000A to ensure that the only signal going out now was from the new EA6200.  Went and ran a speed test on a PC that is connected wirelessly and it got around 35mbs download speed and 4.5mbs upload speed.  I was so happy about the new speeds!

 

I then noticed that as I was playing some PC games online such as League of Legends and others, there would be MASSIVE lag spikes that froze up the game and then resumed back to normal after a few seconds.  This never happened when I was on the internet through the old wifi signal from the C1000A Modem/Router.  At first I was a little upset, but I still continued on without asking anyone in the Linksys Support for help.  Until just 2 days ago everything was alright...

 

Now when I run a speed test on the PC that I tested before, I am getting 1-2mbs download speed and 4.5mbs upload speed.  I can no longer play any online games or even watch a Youtube video at 240p quality without it freezing up only 3 seconds into the video!  So pretty much the only way that I can use the internet is to use the computer that is directly connected by Ethernet Cable.

 

I spent a couple of hours today looking through some forums and even doing a Live Chat with Linksys to see if they could help me with my problem and I have yet been able to get it fixed.  Now I will list some of the things that I have tried along with some of the settings that I have on in my router.

Security Mode - WPA2/WPA Mixed Personal

Channel Width - 20 MHz Only

Channel - 11 2.462 GHz

 

5 GHz Network -

Network - Enabled

((Changed Name of SSID to be different than the 2.4 Network))

Network Mode - Mixed

Security Mode - WPA2/WPA Mixed Personal

Channel Width - 80 MHz

Channel - 149 5.745 GHz

 

Current Firmware Version - 1.1.41.153743

 

Type of Internet Configuration - Automatic (DHCP)

 

DHCP Details are are Default

 

UPnP - Enabled

Cut Through Forwarding - Enabled

 

IPv4 Firewall - Enabled

IPv6 Firewall - Enabled

All VPN Passthroughs are on

Filtering Ident (Port 113)

 

DMZ is OFF

 

No Ports being forwarded

 

Media Prioritization is OFF

 

Guest Access is OFF

 

Parental Controls is OFF

 

 

 

Please help me fix my internet problems...I have tried almost everything and the Live Chat support to this day has failed me every time I have tried.  Thank you all so much for taking the time to read through all this and if there is anything else that you need me to list in here, please just comment and let me know and I will get it up here ASAP.
