I have an E3000 on which I cannot access the guest account. The router has been installed for months and previously the guest account worked. The signal strength is Excellent but it won't connect. The secured account works fine.
I tried to access the guest account by running Cisco Connect which I downloaded from the Cisco website. After going through the entire process - it did find the guest router, it ended up telling me that it "isn't working" and to call Cisco support. I did call Cisco support and they notified me that I could only get paid support. I did power cycle the router (using on-off switch for about 10 seconds) but it didn't make a difference.
At this point, I would like to know what options, if any, I have with this issue (aside from paid support). As far as I can tell, my only option right now would be to reset the router to factory defaults and reconfigure it. I am concerned with this as I don't have the original Cisco connect discs. Any help would be appreciated.
