x3000 Cant connect via wifi when DHCP not enabled

HI

I have want to use my X3000 as an Access Point. I have it setup as the following:

  1. My Router is a WAG120N - IP 192.168.0.1
  2. I have a second router (Netgear DG834G - IP 192.168.0.3 - DHCP OFF) on my network. This one work perfectly.
  3. I have all connected via LAN-LAN
  4. My X3000 is in the middle (WAG120N  - X3000 - DG834G) IP 192.168.0.2
  5. I can access all routers via my browser when connected to either the WAG or the Netgear

My problem is that I cant connect using any device, phone or macbook, to my X3000 via WIFI when DHCP is off.

When I set my X3000 DHCP server Enabled I can connect to it. But when I set it as Disabled or even as DHCP Relay then I cant access it.

I have tried to reset to default settings and setup again. No luck.

I used to have my X3000 as my router, but when I did I cound not connect to any devices on my network, such as camera's and alarm, when I was connected to my X3000. So that is why I swoped and made my WAG120N as my router.

My X3000 is out of warenty so I cant take it back.

Can anyone give me some advice

Thanks
