Hey everyone.
Just last week or so I got a new EA6900 router and I'm loving it so far. Just last night for the first time I noticed an issue. My phone wasn't connecting to the 5Ghz AC network as it has been. Now, this has been working since I set it up, without problems, for at least a week, possibly a week and a half (I'd have to go lookup when I actually got the router). I pulled the power, waited 30 seconds, then plugged it back in to see if that would fix it, but the problem persists. So I went to bed to see if a little time after that would allow it to resolve itself.
This morning the same problem exists. My 5Ghz network (AC Only) is not showing any bars unless I'm right on top of it. I mean this literally, I can walk 5 feet away with my phone (Verizon Note 4) and connectivity drops to a single dot and if I go any further, it drops the connection entirely. Now, this has not been the case until last night. Things have been working fine for at least a week, and possibly as long as 2 without any problems.
I checked my firmware version, and I'm on the latest firmware posted on the linksys site. Is this a known issue that I missed? What could be causing this problem? I'm greatly enjoying this router, but this is affecting the network I use for work, and all my high speed wifi.
Can someone help? Thanks!
