We have a WRT54GL router. We have had it forever and it has always been password protected (secured). Recently we noticed all internet connections running slower. We then noticed that our connection was no longer secured. None of our passwords were working so I logged in to Linksys through our IP addrs as Admin, changed pretty much all options and the name of our network (ie, Linksys1 to Smith2) and added password protection (secured). Things seemed to be working great. We had to use the new password to connect on all of our devices and today my husband notices that our connection has gone back to Linksys1, no longer Smith2 and is unsecure! WTH? Why is this happening and how can we fix this for good? Is someone on our network? Please help!
