We had a router through our local service provider that sucked.
We bought a Linksys router to have a better connection. There was difficulty in setting it up, so I called technical support. The female tech set everything up, but when I pointed out the network was Public and needed to be private, she hung up on me.
I called back and received a male tech who told me to forget my network and restablish the connection 7 (SEVEN!) times with no success. I asked to be escalated he told me no one was available. I asked to speak to anyone, including a manager who was more knowledgeable. He hung up on me
Our network is now listed as Public with no home group available
We have no access to "Devices and Connections" under our network to be able to change it back to public.
How do I uninstall what the rep did and fix this?
