E4200 with two RE3000w causes issues?

Hi guys,

i just bought two RE3000w extenders for my home network. I first configured them using the linksys setup tool and then hooked them up to my internal network as described in the manual. After the RE3000w's boot up all my switches show a high network load and any IP i receive from my DHCP server seems to be in use. After a few minutes the DHCP server also stops responding. Any static IP i configure on my PC also reports as in use.

I did a factory reset on both the RE3000w's and then configured the devices by hand. After hooking them back up to the network i get the same result.

The router is a Linksys E4200 (hw v1) running firmware release 1.0.06.

Any ideas on what is going on here?
