I bought a new cable modem and while connecting it I checked Cisco Connect and it told that there's an update for my router, so I thought "Why not". It didn't say "firmware". Because I am a very stupid person I clicked update. In the end it said it couldn't be updated. There was no power outtage. Now my router doesn't work. It's light is blinking for 35 second and lights normally for 3 seconds.
I tried all kinds of resetting. Unplugging. holding reset button for 8 secs, 30 secs, a min, holding 30sec pluggedin, 30 unplugged and 30 plugged.
I cannot access routers web page 192.168.1.1 My connection looks like there is no network cable attached.
So, is my router garbage now? Is there anything to do?
A little software update turned into a nightmare thanks to Cisco. 
I've been working on this for 6 hours now.
