I have plugged in my canon mp470 printer into my ea5400 router via the usb port. I don't see a way to tell the router to search for the printer. I also can't get either windows 7 or 8.1 to find the printer on the network. Is there a way to manually set up this printer to work on the network,without installing Cisco Connect on all the computers in the house?
2nd question: how much resources does cisco connect take? i mean does the software run all the time? is it only initiated when I need the printer? is it just a driver?
