To begin with, let me just tell all of you that the WRT1900AC is a HORRIBLE router. I bought this overpriced **bleep** because I wanted exceptional wireless coverage. Despite having four antennas, the signal is incomparably worse than a ASUS RT-AC66U, and not much better than a cheap chinese 1 antenna router I have as a backup. The supposed support for DD-WRT is a lie, nothing on this router is worth the price tag.
It is possible that the poor wireless performance is due to buggy software, but since custom software is not available, I have no way of knowing, for now, I regret purchasing this router.
I also have another problem. The router is blocking certain websites WITHOUT any sort of reason. I've tested this on several computers and used 3G to confirm that the site actually works. I've disabled the firewall on the router, reset my browser, to no effect.
Can anyone explain to me why such behavior?
