On August 14, 2014 I started using my EA6500 router again since my newer router I had bought had a lot of dropped connection issues and I returned it for credit. When I started using the EA6500 router I made sure that all my devices was working properly and they were. Shortly after doing all this I signed into my router and was informed that there was a firmware update available. I went ahead and let it update. Yesterday (August 16) I checked my wireless cameras and found my FOSCAM camera FI9821W was not connected to the router. I worked on it for over 4 hours trying to make it connect. I tried numerous settings without any luck. I finally decided to restore the older firmware to my router and that fixed the problem. This is the only device that I had a connection issue with using the newer firmware. Apparently the newer firmware changed something that made it where my FOSCAM camera would not connect. Just wondering if someone else experienced this or if anyone has a suggestion on what setting I need to change with the newer firmware to make it so I can connect my FOSCAM camera. Right now everything I have is working fine with the older firmware.
