Just writing about my experience with Linksys Flagship WRT1900AC the device is constantly rebooting and even on one occasion it reset the device back to factory defaults.
This was brand new out of the box so I raised a support case "02745427" and they informed me that this is a known issue.
So have to wait 24-48 hours for a Customer Assurance team to reach out to me, I find this rather unnaceptable for the following reasons.
If its a known issue on a flagship device they should be able to immediately escalate my call and speak to somebody about next steps or at least discuss options.
The router has obviously not been tested prior to release otherwise this would have been resolved prior to release of the unit.
One thing which may help is if you buy the device and it asks you to update the firmware I would refuse as it "may" be the new firmware which is the root cause but without utilising it prior to the upgrade I am unable to say.
The situation is do I just put this down to experience and return it back to my vendors returns bin or do I give Linksys the opportunity to resolve??
What do you think?
