I recently upgraded my internet package. My RE1000 was working fine yesterday, but I was having issues with my router, so my internet provider gave me a new router (same model and everything) and now my RE1000 will not connect to my network.
First I tried with the regular setup, it would find the RE1000 and then it would find the network I would enter the password, it would say setting up the extender and then nothing it would fail every time. I tried resetting the extender, I tried resetting the router, I tried resetting both, all with the same result.
I tried following the steps to connect it via ethernet cable with the same results.
I updated the firmware, then tried everything again all with the same result.
it would get to the part where it says it is setting it up and then would fail every time.
I have tried every tip, suggestion I could find the faqs all with the same result.
If anyone has any new suggestions other than smashing it with a baseball bat I would be very gratefiul.
