EA6900 Smart WiFi how to change Connectivity Internet optional Domain Name so it's blank?

Hi:

I hope someone can help with this. About 15 years ago, I had the WRTG54 or something, as my router at my old home which at that time was configured with the Domain name of:

Domain name:hsd1.ma.comcast.net
Since then, I have moved and have had three Linksys routers as well, since. However, the last two, the EA 2700, which was the totally wrong router for the house I now live in, also had the smart wi-fi set-up and that same optional DNS name showed up. However, as I state below, it was a "piece of cake to install". Well, I just put in my EA6900, made a mistake, I guess, going with the Smart WiFi set-up as I want the old web-based utility in order to get rid of that old, incorrect DNS name. I cannot run my wireless network utilitie's "DNS" ping as it is the wrong DNS name in the router. I tried to get rid of it by going into "Static", but when I deleted out the address and just put in the DNS correct numbers, I couldn't get it to save, I cannot have a static route set-up-like I had to have on the old WRT one at my old house, but that old router seems to be "stalking me" with the DNS name-despite three other routers since as well as never having had that router in the house I moved to in 2008. I hope this is making some sense as I don't know how to explain it better, but I needed that Domain name then, and now, I need it gone! I cannot fathom how it is still showing up after three other routers and a house move. It causes all kinds of issues. I really do not want to have to go back to reset, but I hate how this router's set-up was compared to the EA2700-except for the domain name thing, it was so easy to set-up my own network names and passwords, I didn't mind that smart WiFi. So, when I put in the better EA6900, I wanted to keep it all the same network names and passwords and it wouldn't let me do it-instead I have a network named Linksys, bunch of numbers and a password that's impossible to remember. Also, in the view of network neighborhood, the router appears on the top(icon) then there's a "switch icon" and then, a computer icon that is the Linksys Router-right click that one and it takes you to the URL, but not the top one. Off to the side are the other computers connected and occasionally on the bottom, my printer appears. It maybe a great router and when I bought it, I was assured by Linksys, I could set it up over the old one, keeping my network names, and passwords. Well, that went bust, so to speak. I had to keep what Linksys wanted it's name to be and could not change the password-just the guest, but it still has the Linksys name- only guest, and the 5GHZ network, which I can't do on the non-guest network!. As you know, this router didn't come with an installation disc and it's not been a real simple integration to boot. Also, we are a total wireless household as I'm in the process of building the computer that will be the only Ethernet connected device in the house, but that's going to be a couple of months. However, even when I tried to connect the laptop with Ethernet, I still couldn't get at the setting I need to change. I really need any help someone could give and then, I've got this extender I bought for the EA2700 that never worked, but if I can get this new one setup, I'll try and get that working too. Thanks so much.
