In the past we bought 15 access points WRT 120N to provide wireless network in 3 large floors. All configure with DHCP disable (we already have 1 dhcp server), internet line plug in LAN port, same SSID and Password, different channel wireless. However after some days or some weeks, all access points went down for no reason:
- Cannot ping through LAN cable (we setup each Wifi with a static IP) by computers.
- Smartphone can connect to accesspoint (after setup static IP in smartphone we can ping to accesspoint) through wireless network but cannot access Internet.
- After restart by plugging off/on electricity -> worked fine again. I'm quite sure Internet line to each accesspoints had no problem.
We thought WRT 120N series had problem so we changed all to E1200 series. Still got almost the same problem, only 1 difference is that can ping to them through LAN cable network.
- Can ping but cannot access Web administrator page.
- Smartphone: same problems above.
- Electric: same method.
Really don't know what is the problem. Could someone help me please? I'm totally lost now.
Or is there any devices good with my setup so I can change to it instead?
